The dimming function is built directly into the pendant — no separate dimmer switch, smart home system, or special wiring is required. The touch on/off switch controls both power and brightness, allowing you to set the precise atmosphere you want directly from the light itself. It operates on standard Australian AC power at 90–260V and is fully compatible with existing ceiling wiring.

Can I use a replacement G9 bulb from a hardware store, or does it need a specific type?

Yes — any standard G9 LED bulb will work as a replacement. We recommend staying within the 3W–5W range at a 2700K–3000K colour temperature to maintain the warm focused ambient quality this pendant is designed for. Avoid G9 halogen bulbs — they run significantly hotter and are considerably less energy efficient than the included G9 LED.

How do I adjust the cord length, and what ceiling heights does this pendant suit?

The cord length is fully adjustable at the ceiling rose during installation, making this pendant suitable for standard Australian ceiling heights of 2.4m through to 3.5m and beyond. For dining table placement, we recommend positioning the bottom of the pendant approximately 70–80cm above your table surface — this creates the optimal focused light effect and presence without obstructing sightlines across the table. For bar counter or bedside use, adjust to your preferred hanging height based on the space.
